Ahhh... the relaxing country life. We went back to mimi and pop's this past weekend. What a good time relaxing, swimming, playing with kitties, and visiting with Randy's fam.
Mimi got 2 bike's for the kids and the one who is the smallest liked it the most! I think we will have to be getting him a bike very soon! He sat on her just playing for about 20 minutes while we were on the front porch.
And then he found the kitties. Oh these poor kitties put up with so much! Holding both at the same time...
Smart Scotchie got away, but laid back Callie was trapped
for quite a while....
And she didn't care one bit!!
Sun tanning with a kitty.
All three of mimi's kitties - the other two must have been coming to Callie's rescue!
Wanna play with my car?
Avery took swimming lessons this year and has been doing amazing. I meant to get Kaid signed up, but with our emotionally, physically draining July it just never happened. But this weekend, Kaid just took off going! (she was doing great at the end of summer last year too and was swimming underwater, but it's amazing what they forget over winter!) Now we have 2 little back swimmers!!
Back and forth in the pool. She is doing amazing!
Uncle Joshy sending her off in the deep end.
They both do a good job swimming on their fronts also.
Kaid "helping" Kason swim
Then without any coaxing... off Kaid goes underwater. Once she puts her mind to something she does an amazing job. It's just the confidence that she CAN do it that she needs a little coaxing with!
Off they go
Kason usually only wants to be held in the water - but he was also being brave. He jumped off the steps and I don't think he expected to go underwater!! haha
Hey that was FUN!
Kason's "Help!" cracks me up! He was just fine!
Kaid loves being the "teacher" and showing the younger ones how to swim.

Time out for car fun
On Saturday after lunch we headed over to grandma and pa's. The whole family was there to help take off the shingles on their roof. Randy had to work, so he missed out on the work crew. After all was done, there was lots of 4 wheeler riding, peach cutting, and fire sitting. We had a great day!
Kaid was not happy that Kason got on the 4 wheeler too, because she wanted to go FAST and knew grandma wouldn't with him on. Poor Poor Kaid!
