eYe LoVe YoU

I know I may be a little biased, but I think my kids have the most beautiful eyes! Kaidrie's aren't as blue as they used to be, but I love how the outside outline is so vivid!

She is a sweet little thing and if it wouldn't be for her non-stop talking and questions I'd say she is in the best stage right now. She's such a good girl most of the time and is so sweet with her brother.

Kason has the bluest of blue eyes... so blue that in certain light they almost look purple! Now if only we could get his tear duct to open up and he will have to-die for eyes!

Kason was a wreck this afternoon when he woke up (SCREAMED for about an hour - totally not like him!). I realized his top 2 molars have poked through. Poor man, after Tylenol, Orajel, and teething tablets he was back to his happy self.

Another booty sleeping picture....

Mean aunt Kimmy made me wear a dress - he looks happy to be wearing it, but really he was quite upset... at least we hope he was. :) I can't believe Isaiah was here to play yesterday and today and they left without getting any pictures of the kids playing! (ah yes, and this is the perfect picture of how he always walks - with his right arm straight up in the air!)

Silly kids.

Busy little beavers

Free Weight loss plan: Come watch this little man for a day!!! Any takers? :) He is a busy little guy. His favorite things right now - climbing, biting, and flushing the toilets! Here he is climbing behind the couches and end tables... it took me too long to get the camera - he was on top of the block box and had the tree pulled over on himself.

After I sat him down for the 10th time I just gave up. At least he wasn't on top of the table in this shot! He is a stinker! But oh so lovable!

My little love bug...

These two are trouble. While I was cleaning up lunch today I heard Kaid giggling and say "hey mom, were naked twins!" The next thing I know, Kaid has Kason's shirt on and Kason has Kaid's on.

Kason is not impressed... but hey at least it wasn't a pink shirt!

Oh bummer - fell out!

Randy and I were busy this past weekend. We put in a new flower bed, mulched everything (3 yards worth of mulch!) and did many other odds and ends outside. It is looking so nice!

What a sweet little man! He's holding still!

He LOVES sissy's Jeep. They ride around in it all day long!

More landscaping... around their play house - I just love lilies

The flowers are growing up so nicely this year, I'm so excited to see it!

These are my favorite! I'm not even sure what they are called, but they are so delicate and beautiful and just blow in the breeze.

Not the best picture, but just can't resist Kason's little smirk.... He's always making this face - like he knows he's got everything and everyone figured out!

I love our little hanging basket on the swing set.

What mom? You don't want me eating dirt?

Until next time....

I LOVE SUMMER!

Little man can go go go... that is until you let go and then he's a chicken and won't even try! He's taken a few more steps on his own, but won't take off and go yet!
Yesterday we had Kaidrie's last day of preschool for the year with a picnic at the park! We had a fun time saying good bye to her school friends.

Big monkey...

Little monkey.....

Yeah so, first off - I CAN NOT believe Kason will be 11 months tomorrow... where did my baby go? His newest thing - when you make him mad he puts his head on the floor and sobs.... we were cracking up at him! So here, I was walking with him holding onto his hand then I would let go so he could do it on his own - he wouldn't even try, go down to his knees and wail! Then I'd grab his hand, he would stand up and walk, happy as a clam, until I let go...

Poor bub - mommy is so mean!

and another angle.... he just cracks me up!

Not a day goes by that I'm not amazed at the difference between these two - I don't know if it's a boy girl thing or just a personality thing....
Kason falls asleep the moment he gets in the car - Kaidrie screamed every time we were in the car
Kason could care less who is holding him for the most part - Kaidrie was ONLY happy with mommy.
Kason is all rough and tumble - anything he can tear, bite, eat... especially any form of dirt... - Kaidrie didn't like to get dirty and was never rough with things for the most part.
Kason is Mr Persistent when it comes to things I say no to - like the plant in the kitchen and his newest the knobs on the stove - Kaidrie lost interest and listened after about 3-4 times.... Kason does it at least 3-4 times a DAY!
Even though they are so different and each have their own things that drive a momma crazy - they are absolutely the best things in life. The other day while we were out watching them put up up the fence and the kids were playing in the yard, Randy looked at me and said, "do you ever think about how blessed and fortunate we are" We truly are! Thank you God for these two little lives - they are a joy!

God's lesson in patience...

Evidently Randy and I have been in need of a few lessons in patience over the past few years! Well, we are finally at the end of a LONG year wait on the fence we paid for way back on April 22nd 2008. Our fence is FINISHED and looks wonderful! Honestly, while sometimes it makes me angry we had to wait this long, it was really worth the wait to have it look this nice!

Last Friday after many many battles (and go figure about 2 weeks before the court date).... the guy we bought the fence off of hired some guys to come out and put it up... So here we are on starting day!

The end of day 1....Holes are dug and some posts are in place!

While we were at the circus they came and put the rest of the posts in.

At the end of day 3 - it's looking like a fence!! YAY!

All finished and just perfect! It is just what I wanted and am loving having our own little area fot the kids to run and play!

Ta-da

Time out from the fence to check out how my garden is growing! How great is it!

The view of it from the front of the house.

Here's the back corner and what the inside of the fence looks like.
Randy still has to go to court on Tuesday to testify so the judge can really see what a jerk this guys is. GET THIS - he told the crew that was here to put up the fence that "I don't know what you've hear about this job, but the reason it hasn't gotten done until now is because they couldn't decide if they wanted it or not!" Are you KIDDING me?!?! What we just have so much money that we wanted to give it to him?!?! Some people just shock me. Oh well, forgive... it's done...

Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of all ages......

The Circus came to town! Yay! We headed down town on my birthday to spend a fun day eating popcorn, cotton candy and drinking lemonade. I love living near a city that is always having fun things for the kids to do and see!

Family self portrait

Kason waiting for the show to start - I couldn't believe how into it he was! He was watching with awe!

The "Over the top" intro... We're so excited!

cute little ponies

I think the most amazing part of any circus is the tiger show - No way you would catch me anywhere near that ring!

Since it as at 1pm - Kason's naptime - little man couldn't hold out for the entire show so he fell asleep and slobbered all over my arm... Wow, check out my concentration face trying to take a picture of the sleeping baby in my arms.... nice...

Elephant... Elephant.... I'm just amazed how you get a HUGE animal like that to do tricks! They were so cool and looked like they were all smiling!
Some of the other amazing things they had were the trapeze people - I was terrified just watching them! and also they had a big globe thing that 7 motorcycles were going around in circles at once - pretty amazing! We had a great time and Kaid is already asking when we are going back!
