Fun family and Friends time!

Randy is playing softball with a friend from work. We went to the park while they practiced. Kaid had a great time giving her baby rides and Kason was being SO noisy! He was being quite the little screacher! So cute!

Over a month ago we went home to get our Proper family pictures taken. They didn't turn out as good as we had hoped but at least we were all in the same place at the same time!

She got a great picture of Kaid! Her smiles were like turning on a light switch!

We didn't get great pictures of my two kids together or of Kason by himself so I attempted at getting some. This was as good as I got!

Last week he found his tongue and now he is always playing with it! I just can't believe how quickly the past 3 months have gone! He honestly is the best baby I could have wished for! I remember being on bedrest all those weeks and telling people that for all I did to get him here he better be a great baby and he really is that and more! He rarely cries, smiles when you look at him and giggles so easily especially when big sissy is around! This past week he started sleeping 11 hours most nights! WaHoo!



We had some of the college girls and their families over for a cookout! We had a great time! Kaid and Logan (Niki's son) played so good together after Kaid got over the fact that he is a BOY!

Just everyday life....

Kason is such a good happy baby! Every time I look at him I just am in love with how sweet he is!
We got out the jumperoo for him a few days ago... right at first he wasn't sure if he wanted to laugh or cry. I think he finally decided it was pretty cool!

At 2 1/2 months he can already touch the floor with his cute little cubby feet!

Kaid thought it was so cool that Kason was big enough to play in this! It seems like yesterday that we put her in it for the first time! Oh how time flies!

After a long day of playing this is how Kason fell asleep... silly boy!


We went to our friend's house for the big game Saturday night! We had a great time despite the beeting they took!

Randy turns 30!!!

For the past couple of months I had been planning a little surprise birthday party for Randy - he was absolutely clueless until about 10 minutes AFTER the party started! It was so funny... people just kept showing up and finally he said "Oh, I get what's going on here... I feel kinda stupid." We had a great time and had some great eats!

Kaid is officially a preschooler!

Well, we successfully got through her first week in school and she did GREAT! Like I've already said, I just cannot believe how this kid has grown up over the past 6 months! She has had a great time playing with the GIRLS at preschool and comes home with a new song every day. This past Thursday she came home and asked me, "Mom, do you have your listening ears on?" But anyway, she is having a great time and is still staying away from the boys! lol


Randy, Kirby and 2 of Randy's friends went to Virgina to the Nascar race. They got rained on almost the entire weekend because of Hurricane Hannah. The races finally ran on Sunday and after a LONG drive all night they finally got home around 9am Monday morning! After daddy got home from the race Kaid tried out his Gordon hat!

Our week...

I just can't get over how this kid has changed in the past few months. She used to run and hide from the camera and now she poses and wants me to take "just one more!" My baby will be starting Preschool next week! This week is orientation - I just can't believe it!


Yesterday we went to watch Uncle Kevin and Aunt Kimmy play in a softball tourneyment. Kaid was doing some crafts with some of the kids there... and leave it to Kaid to clean up the mess!

It was a beautiful HOT day and Mr Kason wasn't so sure he liked it. We took some time out under the tent and he was as happy as can be to be out of the heat a little!

Kaid and Lakeesha (Randy's cousins daughter) had SO much fun playing with the baby dolls! They got along great and Kaid said that "she is my funest friend I've ever had!"
