To my faithful blog stalkers
Well, I've done it. I have officially taken up too much space in this thing they call the World Wide Web and it wants me to PAY to buy more space to share our lives with you all (I even tried to delete some old posts to free up some space, but I wasn't able to trick them!). So, what does that mean? It means that I'm going to have to start from scratch and start a NEW blog. So, I know 3 of you faithful stalkers have been tormenting me lately about my slacking.... I'll get to it.... it just may take some time! :) I'll let you know the new blog address when I get one. It will probably end up being something like randyandjannajourney.blogspot.com If you have any suggestions on an easy one to remember let me know and I'll keep you updated!

Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow
Oh the memories! We had our college homecoming this past weekend. One of my Sigma Alpha Tau sisters asked for some pictures of our college days so she could put together a slide show for our 100 year anniversary! It brought back such good memories looking back through the years!
Some of my favorites....
My roomies - love these girls! I'm so glad most of us still keep in contact and get together often!
And Now - we all look as young as we did 7 years ago - class of 03-04
Little man being goofy - I think he's getting a little big for the stroller!
Waiting for the parade to start
Waving to the fire truck!
100 years and still "hooting" Sisters of Sigma Alpha Tau "Owls"
Every year the different Sorority's and Fraternities have a different theme for the parade and their floats - this year was "sinking breast cancer" one of the frats made a cool octopus!
After the Owl house celebrations and the parade we headed over to the jump houses. One of them was a tug of war... hmmm... wonder who's going down first!?
haha he loved it! In about 2 seconds flat he was flat on his face. Serves the little mean guy right! :)
Kason and Logan playing
LOOK - I stole a cone, do I need to sit in the corner now?
We had a great time seeing old friends! It's always great going back - it was a wonderful 4 years!
Little pumpkins at the pumpkin patch
Every year the girls in the neighborhood get a group of kids to go to the pumpkin patch together. We weren't able to go last year, but had a great time this year again!
Since the kids didn't have school one day last week we got to take the older kids too.
Lori, Zoey and her nephew Preston came along too!
Puppy Kason and Kitty Zoey
Kaidrie always talks about a Carmen that she plays with at school, I knew we had met her before, but couldn't picture who she was. Kaid was so excited when Carmen was there with the group too! Yay!
Little man playing in the hay
Getting ready to go on the hayride - Kason held my hand tight the whole time!
Kason found his pumpkin!
Kason and Ryan playing on an old tractor!
Kaidrie found a perfect one for her!
Barrel ride time!
The crew - Kason was eating spilled popcorn off the hay bale and wouldn't turn around for the picture.
and when I finally tried to turn him around we got an upset crying boy face!

NEW expierences
A few days ago I was in the loft doing a little scrapbooking when Kason came to me with a box of bandaids. I asked him how he got them and he proceeded to show me.... Our medicine cabinet is no longer safe!!
Showing us how he "I did it!"
Another milestone in our house! Kaid's first REAL lost tooth. The first had to be pulled out when she was 3 after a hard bonk and many months of having an ouchy tooth the dentist told us she had to pull it out. This one has been wiggly for about 2 months and it finally fell out! Yay Kaid! You look like such a big girl!
Later that afternoon we got an hours notice about a showing so after running around like a mad-woman trying to get the house OCD perfect we went to waste some time before daddy could meet us for dinner. We headed to the pet store down the road. Now, this is usually a very SAFE pet store to go in. No puppies, or kitties so nothing to make me fold to the kids pleads. So, as we were getting ready to walk out in walked some people with a box full of kittens. They were orphaned and they could not keep them. They made me putty in their hands when they said they took them to the shelter and they said if they couldn't sell them in 3 days they would put them down. They dug the knife in deeper when they said they were free and I looked in and saw this sweet face looking up at me - all the while my kids are picking them up and so excited and looking at me with that look in their eyes. Yep, we were in trouble. So, this is what happens in a VERY WEAK mommy moment. You get a new family member....
She is the cutest thing! A few days after bringing her home I took her to a vet and it is for-sure a girl, which Kaid's response was "Mom, I already know. It's a girl" The vet said she can't be older than 5 or 6 weeks old because he teeth are just starting to come in. I'm thinking she was only 5 weeks with how she eats - I'm sure she wasn't weaned yet.
Messy little thing! I have to give her baths at least daily with as much food as she gets all over her. I finally couldn't deal with the mess anymore and went to dry kitten food and got some kitten milk at the store and she is doing well with that and it's a little less messy.
Trying to force food in her mouth.
Look at the big kitty - MEOWW!
Cute little Eylie LaLa She'd be cuter if she didn't cry 24/7 and poop and pee all over my laundry room floor!
She loves attention, but she still doesn't play very much at this point, and doesn't like to be held - she just cries and cries.
Little itty bitty
The past few days have been beautiful - so since she WILL be an outside cat once Spring hits we have been taking her out so she can get used to it. The first time out Kaid said she didn't like the grass, but she loves it now.
Kaid loves cuddling with her. She doesn't understand why she's not as playful as mimi's kitties though - I keep explaining she will be, she's just too little right now. But she does love to cuddle!
Friday night Kim, Chad and the kids came to visit! Yay - it was SO good to see them. We miss them so much - sometimes it is way too long between visits!
Kim and Chad took Isaiah and Kaid to the "Creating Museum" on Saturday and Kason and I got some Ella time! It was a beautiful day so we went outside while Ella was napping to do some Fall flower bed work... well, at least I did... Kason just tormented Eylie
Kason loving his time with Ella! He was so good with her - very sweet!! Does this kid have a mop or what!! She hasn't lost a bit of hair and it's only gotten longer and thicker! She's so stinkin cute!
Ella meet Eylie
It was so fun seeing you guys and I LOVED my baby fix day with Miss Ella. She was so good! I wish they lived closer so we could have more fun weekends with them!
haha - yes I know he's just in his undies, but I had to take a picture... when did my chunky baby grow into such a skinny tall thing? Oh, makes my heart hurt to see him growing so fast, but so joyful to watch him grown and learn new things!
My little man can count to 10 and then skips around in the teens, knows some of his colors, is POTTY TRAINED with only a small amount of help (but still has trouble with #2), he talks a TON and repeats everything you say... even mommy's "Oh crap" the other day. I love how he says motorcycle, "tac-to-ty-cle." He's got the greatest belly laugh ever! He tells us to be "Quiet!!" all the time.Kaid told him he was bad the other day and he said, "I not bad, I MEAN!"
And the best story of the month... we were looking at houses back in September and daddy found a moth in one of the houses basements... he picked it up and told Kason is was an M&M... so he ATE it!
Silly little man. I love you bubby!
Oh and update on the kitty issues - I think she's finally starting to like her new home! She doesn't cry anymore! She's eating well and can even do #2 in the litter box! Now just trying to figure out how to get her to pee in the box too! She even puts herself to bed in the laundry room at night. yay!
