I'm *almost* 16 months old!

A sweet picture from about 16 months ago that I found on mom's computer! Mommy with her tiny baby and Kaidrie with hers. So cute.
My big boy now. He's such a sweet little man still. He understands pretty much everything we ask him or tell him and he's actually starting to listen and do as we ask instead of running the other way! He's been working on his B's the past couple of weeks and can say Bye bye, ball, boo, brrr, and Ba (for Bonnie - who by the way is very sick and needs lots and lots of prayers right now) He says Hi and some other random words that I can't think of right now. Finally the past couple of weeks he's not grunting so much and is actually trying to repeat what we say.

So, Kason evidently found the best seat in the house. Luckily Paul built the coffee table drawers to withstand 100 lbs! Here he is not sure if he's going to be told no...

Then realizes that it's kinda funny. He actually climbed up in here all by himself and hopped out when he was done. Such a silly guy

He loves watching the fish!

His first time in his big boy chair! No high chair anymore! YAY!

Yeah, this is how I eat my Spaghetti

Daddy tries

Yep, must be pretty tasty to eat with your foot on the table.

What a weekend for camping!

Yeah - it was a little chilly! But at least we weren't really "roughing it" since we were staying in a house! We did spend a little time outside and a lot of time in an unheated garage out back.

When Randy's siblings get together things always get a little interesting. Here Randy is trying to do Kim's "flying dove"

Kim and I can't wait until these two are best buds - we thought this was so cute... sitting beside each other reading their own papers.

Don't even ask... not sure....

Kason so proud of himself drinking out of a big boy cup!

Poor AJ, Mckenzie, and Lu started out the week sick... by the time we were leaving there were about 3-4 more feeling not so good. Now this week my 2 kiddos and I aren't feeling the greatest. When AJ gets sick - he gets so wheezy, so here he is with his elephant nose taking a breathing treatment. Poor guy.

The girl cousins, Mckenzie, Evanne and Kaid

Isaiah acting shy. I think this was right after I said "Hey, do I have a duck on my head." It got him to look!

Dirty little children sittin in the woods

Big boy!

Just a swingin

Kason thought he would help them play cornhole by sitting on the board.

Coloring

Some of the girls getting ready to go mudding - me, Lisa T, Mykeila, and Kim

The guys thought it was humorous how Kim and I went 4-wheeling...
Kim's feet

My feet - ok, so we didn't bring boots - big deal!

Kirby taking the kids for a ride

The first thing Kason did when we walked in to the house when we got there was to go over and sit by McKenzie then try to push her over. By day 2 he couldn't get enough of her. He kept hugging her. It was so cute but a little overwhelming for her!

This kid is so funny. Just hanging out at the table.

The guys coming back from a trail ride. Paul, Randy, Kirby and AJ

Lu and Paul both had Birthday's this week. Lu's was on the Friday before we all got there and Paul's was the next Saturday.
Kim was attempting to re-gain her status as favorite "aunt" that Kevin's girlfriend stole this weekend. So, she took the kids off and they came out and showed us a little skit...

Yeah, once again... not sure. He fits in well with this family.

Getting ready to leave

Poor Kaid... About 7pm on the second night we were there, we were playing in the garage playing. Kaid lost her balance and put her hand behind her to catch herself - and her hand went right on the Kerosene heater. I felt so bad for her. Even little 1st degree burns hurt and this one was a bad 2nd degree. Poor girl had blisters on all 4 fingers on the one hand. She had a rough night the rest of that night, but by morning her fingers didn't hurt anymore. Here are her fingers 3 days later. I'm so glad they at least don't hurt her anymore.

Despite the cold weather, burns, and sick kids we all had a good time. It did feel good to get home to our own beds! Hopefully we are all on the mend soon!

Down on the farm

This past Wednesday Kaidrie's class had their field trip to a farm. It was SO COLD - but we still managed to have some fun!
on the barrel ride

Kason went on my lap and doesn't look so sure about things...

In the maze

weee.... giving baby bro a ride

Some of the girls in Kaid's class

After the tour was over they got to go play in a barn - they had tons of toys to play with!

and had a box with corn to play in

Sitting on a real tractor!

Queen of the Mountain!

Kason on the way home - lol He looks like a little marshmallow!

Here we go Steelers, Here we go!

Last weekend we headed to Michigan to visit some friends and to watch the Steelers play! It was awesome to watch them live and even more awesome to watch them WIN live! The kids stayed at Steve's parents house during the game and had fun playing with all the doggies!

We were so excited to get to meet Steve's girlfriend, Rebecca. She is just wonderful and we will be happy when they can come to our place to visit hopefully soon!

Steve and Randy

Kaidrie just adores Steve! Even when she was in her "shy" stage she always took to Steve right away even when she hadn't seen him in months. I do believe Kason is attached now also!

Kaid and her "cell phone" Oh this electronic addiction starts way too early! She loved playing with Steve's phone.

Sticker fun!

We had a great trip - despite the little sleep that we got thanks to Kason! :) It was so good to see Steve again!

After the game was over we were taking about when Kaid was little and did the shoulder lean. It was so cute - so we decided to teach Kaid how to do it too!

Kason was trying to carry a bunch of pencils - but every time he put another in his hand one would fall out. Poor little guy was so frustrated!
