Day 2

Our day started bright and early! 6:30 Tennessee time! I caught Kason doing his "tongue talk" He does this all the time, especially when he's mad and he can really get it going! Cracks me up.... I didn't get much on tape, but I'll keep trying to see if I can get more!



Finally around 9am we headed to the pool - I may not have been able to lay out, but while Kaid took a "bugs in the pool" break, Kaid sure did.... here's my bathing beauty...

Kaid is quite the story teller - almost a month back she, Randy and Jimmy saw a HUGE turtle out in the middle of the road... they attempted to move him off so he wouldn't get hit. The next morning we saw he had been hit about a street down. She still hasn't stopped talking about it.

Randy surprised us and got out of class really early! Yay!

After Kason's nap we got cleaned up we went to the Wild Horse Saloon. Great food and great music. It was a cool atmosphere. The kids were in awe of the live talent!

This little man even wore daddy out tonight. We really think he's got ADD! lol - can one year olds have that? The kid doesn't sit still unless he's sleeping or eating (and even then it's not very still as you will see in the next video...)!

While we were waiting on our food Randy gave up and just let him go explore. He's got a way to wear you down... are all little boys like this? Whew!

We then went on the search for the perfect cowGIRL hat for Kaid. Go figure, the one she liked that actually fit her happened to be one of the more expensive ones we saw! So, if you ever see Kaid around with her cowgirl hat on it's because daddy told her if she really wanted it, she had better wear it! Cute cowgirl eating some ice cream!

What mom, you want me to sit still? We attempted getting his cowboy had on also... good try.

I just love the flowers by the pool - the maroon and yellow look beautiful together.... I'll have to keep this in mind if we ever put in more flower beds... good luck on that one!

Lazy man award - Randy was sitting RIGHT in front of the TV and asked Kaid to go get the remote - SERIOUSLY?

We are having a nice time and although we don't have the ocean it almost feels like vacation! Although at bed time it's to the hotel room to stay - no sitting on the deck listening to the waves. Bummer!
