Here comes Santa Claus

Kaid has always screamed every time she has seen Santa or the Easter Bunny and kept saying that she didn't want Santa to bring her presents because she doesn't like him! The day before we were going to see Santa she changed her mind and decided that maybe she was a little excited to see him!

It was freezing cold outside while we waited for about an hour in line....

Right about this time she decided she wasn't so sure about this Santa thing... but after a pep talk from mommy that we didn't wait in the cold line for so long for her not to sit on his lap she gained up her strength!

She did wonderful! I was so proud of her! She climbed right up on Santa's lap and even TALKED to him - a HUGE step for miss Kaid! Kason thought Santa was the coolest and giggled at him the whole time. Kaid told him she wanted a barbie and Kason wanted a race car. After she got off his lap she said, "mommy, Santa was so nice and he was so fuzzy!"

It was so dark out that this is hard to see, but oh so cute!

All of the kids got to pick a toy from Santa. Kaid picked a soft baby - go figure - and we picked a cute little teddy bear for Kason. They had the softest cutest little ponies there for the kids to pet! The cold wait was so worth it - what a fun evening!
