To all of my faithful readers... please pray for my aunt Berdene. She is very very sick and in the ICU. They aren't sure exactly what is going on yet, but had internal bleeding and has already received 4 units of blood and will get more. She has been having lots of hip pain lately and woke up this morning really not feeling well. She is in critical condition. Please send lots of prayers her way please. The whole family is in shock with what is happening. Keep her husband, Ellis (my mom's brother) their daughter, Heather and her husband Kenny in your thoughts also as they try to stay strong for her.
Berdene - praying God gives you the strength to make it through and the doctors the knowledge and skill to fix whatever is wrong. We love you.
UPDATE
Aunt Berdene is doing SO much better! She has been moved out of ICU! She is awake, off the vent and doing the food attempt thing! God is good. One of her nurses said that she was the sickest person she's seen come into the ER that LIVED. One of her doctors said, "it's patients like her that make you believe in God." She is truly a miracle!
The plan now, is to let her get a little stronger, then do surgery to remove the dime sized stone and infected kidney next week. Please keep praying, she still has a long road ahead.
